Initial Consultation

The initial consultation takes approximately 60 minutes. It is essential so we can discuss your fitness goals, medical conditions, injuries and current health habits – all the things we need to consider which dictates the planning of your program and the best approach for you. From this I can help you to set realistic targets that you can aim for, both for the short and long term.

Another key component of your first session is to measure your current health, strength and fitness capabilities. We measure blood pressure, body fat, body measurements, and perform some fitness, strength, and functional movement tests. Don’t be hesitant about the first session, the aim is to get your starting point and a picture of where you are at today. We use this as your baseline so we can track your future progress. How will you know how much you’ve changed if you don’t know where you’ve begun?
